ATLANTIC® LUGGAGE LIMITED WARRANTY

You can always use some backup. That’s why we build luggage that stands up to any travel, toddler, and even teen. It’s highly unlikely that you will have any issues caused by defects in materials or workmanship. But if it happens, that’s on us, and we’ll cover the cost to fix your bag - or replace it if not fixable. Normal wear, like scratches, dents, and PB&J handprints, don’t fall under our warranty, but as far as durability goes, the only thing tougher than this luggage is you.

Who is Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty is intended to cover the original purchaser or gift recipient holding proof of purchase of this Atlantic® luggage/product.  Proof of Purchase is required to confirm the applicability of this limited warranty.  Please retain the original receipt or register your product (recommended) at https://register.atlanticluggage.com/ to act as your Proof of Purchase.

This warranty, and any corresponding implied warranties, are valid only for the following periods:

Wheeled Luggage Pieces – 10 Year Limited Warranty

Soft Bags and Packing Cubes – 1 Year Limited Warranty

What is Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that negatively impact the functional performance of the product, including:

  • Wheels that break off or are otherwise no longer usable
  • Zippers that break or can no longer operate correctly
  • Extension handles that break off or are otherwise no longer usable
  • Carrying handles that tear or break off
  • Rips or tears in the exterior fabrics that would be considered a defect outside of normal wear and tear

What is Not Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Abrasions, scratches, dents, or stains that do not impair the functional performance of the product.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage from abuse, mishandling or accidents or damage caused by an airline, train service, cruise ship or other common carrier.
  • Incidental or consequential damage, including loss of contents, loss of use or time or similar expenses beyond the control of Atlantic.

 How to Make a Claim

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEFECTIVE GOODS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT.

 If you have a problem with the functional performance of your luggage/product as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair your bag/product (or replace it with a product of comparable value, if in our sole discretion repair is not feasible) at our expense. Simply contact Customer Service by clicking here or by phone 1-800-257-0285 M-F 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Please be certain to have your Proof of Purchase available.

If shipment to a repair facility is needed, it is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Please be certain to include a copy of your warranty registration or receipt as Proof of Purchase.  Atlantic will cover the expense of shipping the repaired or replacement bag back to you.

 State Law Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Governing Law

This Atlantic® Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, including its statutes of limitations, without giving effect to any conflict-of-laws or other rule that would result in the application of the laws of a different jurisdiction.

THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN SHALL BE EXCLUSIVE AND REPLACE ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REMEDIES OR CONDITIONS. TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LUGGAGE IS SOLD “AS IS” AND ATLANTIC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ATLANTIC BE LIABLE FOR ANY PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ATLANTIC’S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE LUGGAGE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  

IN NO EVENT SHALL ATLANTIC BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE LUGGAGE IN AN ILLEGAL MANNER OR FROM OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OF THE PRODUCT.

In the unlikely event that a problem occurs with your luggage as a result of a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair your bag (or replace it, if repair is not possible) at our expense. The Atlantic® Luggage warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover wear or damage caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier. In the course of normal handling, your luggage may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain component parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather, etc., will show wear. This wear is not covered under the warranty.

Atlantic® Luggage will provide prompt refurbishment services at a nominal cost. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Note: Please examine your luggage carefully for damage before leaving the airport and immediately report any damage to the baggage service center of the airline on which you traveled. DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE AIRLINE IS THE AIRLINE'S RESPONSIBILITY AND MUST BE CLAIMED TO THE AIRLINE AT THE TIME DAMAGE OCCURS. By not following this procedure, you risk that the damage will not be covered under airline policy or Atlantic® Luggage warranty.
